1. Apps covered by these terms
These Terms of Service apply to all software and services published by Nzunda Technologies Limited under the Nzura brand, including in particular:
- Nzura App — the full Nzura Business Operating System covering every module and product (accounting, inventory, HR/payroll, CRM, POS, manufacturing, hotel, microfinance, contract farming, and more), available on the web at nzura.co.tz and through the Nzura desktop and mobile installers.
- Nzura Social Manager — the social media management app and module within Nzura App that connects to third-party social networks (TikTok, X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and WhatsApp Business) to publish posts, schedule content, read and reply to messages, mentions and comments, and view social analytics on behalf of the connected business. "Nzura Social Manager" is also the application name registered with TikTok, X (Twitter), Meta, LinkedIn, and other social network developer platforms for the OAuth client that powers these integrations.
- Nzura Chat — the end-to-end encrypted messenger app published by Nzunda Technologies Limited for private business and personal conversations.
Where these terms refer to "the Nzura platform" or simply "Nzura", that reference includes Nzura App, Nzura Social Manager, and Nzura Chat unless the context clearly limits it to one of them.
2. Platform scope
Nzura App provides software tools for business operations, including accounting, inventory, procurement, payroll, CRM, messaging, social media management (delivered through Nzura Social Manager), private end-to-end encrypted chat (delivered through Nzura Chat), reporting, AI-assisted workflows, payment orchestration, portals, and compliance-related workflows. The exact features available to a tenant depend on subscribed modules, enabled integrations, configuration, and lawful use.
3. Account eligibility and authority
You may use Nzura App, Nzura Social Manager, and Nzura Chat only if you have authority to bind the business or entity you represent and to provide the data, users, and third-party connections required for your use case. You are responsible for your administrators, employees, agents, connected providers, and any actions taken under your tenant account.
4. Acceptable use and prohibited businesses
You may not use Nzura App, Nzura Social Manager, or Nzura Chat for any business, transaction, workflow, or content that is prohibited by Tanzanian law, applicable anti-money laundering or anti-terrorism law, sanctions regimes, export controls, the platform policies of any social network connected through Nzura Social Manager, or other applicable international law. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably suspect prohibited or unlawful use.
- No fraud, deceptive practices, unlawful financial schemes, or money movement without lawful authority.
- No business involving terrorism, sanctioned persons, trafficking, exploitation, illegal weapons, counterfeit goods, or unlawful controlled substances.
- No unlicensed regulated activity where a legally required license, registration, or authorization is missing.
- No attempts to bypass security controls, reverse engineer restricted integrations, scrape protected data, or interfere with platform stability.
- No use of Nzura Social Manager to publish, schedule, or distribute spam, harassment, hate speech, misleading content, or any content that violates the developer terms, community guidelines, or platform policies of TikTok, X (Twitter), Meta (Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp), LinkedIn, YouTube, or any other connected social network.
5. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, ownership, and authorization of the information, users, connected accounts, API keys, payment gateway credentials, tax settings, content, and business processes you place into Nzura App, Nzura Social Manager, or Nzura Chat. You must review outputs, reports, filing data, payroll data, AI-generated content, and transaction records before relying on them operationally or submitting them externally.
6. Module licensing and commercial structure
Nzura App is offered as interconnecting modules. A tenant may subscribe to one or several modules — including Nzura Social Manager and Nzura Chat — and modules may share data when enabled inside the same tenant environment. Commercial charges may depend on module selection, users, branches, data volumes, message volumes, transaction volumes, connected channels, support level, onboarding scope, and custom integration requirements.
Public pricing pages describe pricing structure and billing basis for each module. Final commercial schedules may be set by order form, proposal, statement of work, or another written agreement with Nzunda Technologies Limited.
7. Third-party services and provider accounts (including Nzura Social Manager)
The Nzura platform can connect to third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS providers, AI providers, and social networks. Those services are governed by their own terms, policies, rate limits, technical availability, licensing conditions, and compliance obligations. You remain responsible for using those services lawfully and keeping your credentials accurate and authorized.
In particular, Nzura Social Manager connects your business to TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and WhatsApp Business via each provider's official OAuth flow. Your use of Nzura Social Manager is additionally subject to the developer terms, API terms, and platform policies of each social network you choose to connect (including the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, the X Developer Agreement and Policy, the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service). If a social network revokes, restricts, or changes our or your access to its API, the affected Nzura Social Manager functionality may be limited or unavailable.
8. Payment gateway responsibility allocation
The Nzura platform provides software orchestration, callback handling, record-keeping, and configuration support for gateways. We do not guarantee settlement, disbursement, provider onboarding approval, chargeback outcomes, bank acceptance, network uptime, or regulatory approval by any provider. Monetary movement, provider-side reconciliation, reserves, frozen balances, gateway account suspensions, and compliance obligations remain the responsibility of the tenant and the relevant payment gateway provider, subject to applicable law.
9. Privacy and data handling
Your use of Nzura App, Nzura Social Manager, and Nzura Chat is also subject to the Privacy Policy. You must only upload and process personal data where you have a lawful basis and appropriate authorization.
10. Availability and changes
We may update features, modules, workflows, user interfaces, routing, and supported providers from time to time. We may also suspend access for maintenance, legal risk, security concerns, or provider-side changes. Where reasonably possible, we will aim to give notice for material planned changes.
11. Limitation, suspension, and termination
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create legal or security risk, or fail to meet payment obligations. Detailed limitation positions for payment and compliance-sensitive workflows appear on the Legal liability page.
11.1 Trial billing, grace period, and deletion of inactive accounts
By creating a Nzura App account (including a tenant that uses Nzura Social Manager or Nzura Chat) you accept the following automatic billing and retention schedule for trial accounts. Full operational detail is published in the Privacy Policy (Retention section).
- T-5 to T-0 (five days before trial expiry through the day of expiry): we issue a draft invoice on your behalf and on Nzunda Technologies Limited's accounting books, and send daily reminder messages by email and SMS at 09:05 EAT. The reminder on T-0 includes a one-click login link so the account administrator can sign in and pay.
- T+1 to T+7 (seven-day grace period): if the invoice is unpaid, daily "trial over — log in and pay" reminders continue by email and SMS. Service access remains suspended until payment clears.
- T+7 — invoice void: the unpaid invoice is automatically removed from both your billing module and Nzunda Technologies Limited's accounting module.
- T+46 to T+59 (14-day deletion countdown): escalating notifications warn the account administrator that the account will be permanently deleted on day 60.
- T+60 (60 days after trial expiry, still inactive): the account, its database schema, all uploaded files, and all stored backup snapshots are permanently deleted. After this point the data cannot be restored.
The account administrator may request manual deletion at any time via our consent & deletion request page. Manual deletion immediately cancels any pending reminders for the account and triggers the same hard-purge of database, files, and backups on the day requested. We retain only the minimum metadata required by Tanzanian tax law and our audit obligations (tenant identifier, legal company name, deletion timestamp, operator, audit trail).
